Opening a Queue Window

To open a print queue window, select the New Queue Window option from the file menu or click on the new window icon from the main tool bar. The following dialog box will be presented.

Double click on the [Root] or appropriate containers to expand the list. You can also close the list by double clicking on the container again. Bindery servers will also be shown and can be expanded the same way.

Each print queue is shown in the list. You may select one or multiple queues to open. Press the Ok button when you have made your selection.

Queues that have been installed by a system administrator are marked with a check. You will not be able to open queues that have not been installed.

All queues are shown in the dialog. You may not have sufficient access to read the print queue. If this is the case, you will be notified when QView attempts to open the window.

You cannot open two windows for the same queue.

Close Window

To close a print queue window, select the Close Queue Window from the file menu, or click on the close window icon from the main tool bar.
