Installing a Print Queue

1) Select the NetWare print queue that you wish to install and click on the install button.

2) The details button will show you a dialog box of who has operator access to this print queue, and what the install status of the queue is.

3) Installing the print queue gives read and write access to the user group QVIEW_OPERATORS in addition to the queue operator rights. This access is required to move jobs between queues. You will need to make users members of this group if you wish to allow them to move jobs between queues.

4) For NDS queues, you will need to select a user group or create a QVIEW_OPERATORS user group before you can install a print queue. The default group is "QVIEW_OPERATORS" in the current context.

5) You may wish to make the QVIEW_OPERATORS group a print server operator for the print server servicing the queue. Use the NetWare pconsole utility to do this. Users will need print server operator status to halting print jobs rather than just delete active jobs.
